Gosh Ariana, I want to love you so bad. The lip line went on so clean and crisp but the lipstick just got patchy within seconds. For a matte, this was surprisingly slippery. I am so torn. I love, love, love the shade and it looks great from far away but up close it’s a bit of a mess. Today MAC Cosmetics revealed their new VIVA GLAM girl via Twitter. The new face for their iconic lipstick will be singer and actress Ariana Grande, whose new single, Focus, will be out on October 30. The new VIVA GLAM lip products are available from January 2016. MAC created the very first VIVA GLAM lipstick in 1994 which was a time where HIV and AIDS heavily affected the world. The idea behind the bold lipstick was to celebrate life and to show the outspoken attitude of MAC Cosmetics.

The VIVA GLAM lipstick is suited for all ages, races and genders. 100 percent of the proceeds of every VIVA GLAM product go directly to, and therefore to men, women and children affected by HIV/AIDS. According the MAC AIDS Fund’s, typical VIVA GLAM spokespeople are “ provocative, alternative and influential and reflect diverse communities. They are heroes we look up to for their personal triumphs; people who have invented themselves and people who created movements,” something that Ariana Grande for sure has proved time and time again that she truly is.
